We had a really lovely Christmas! The girls got LOTS of stuff and were still totally enthralled with the magic of the season. Dave got me some wonderful things that I wasn't expecting, even after I told him not to get me anything. We spent time with family, ate good food and have been chilling at home since Christmas Day.
The kids are out of school for another week or so. Dave is back at work and we have both girls' birthdays right around the corner. I have work to finish and some coming up. So, basically, we're getting back to normal around here. Well, but for all the Christmas stuff still being up. Oh well, it's pretty and I enjoy it. It will come down when it comes down.
Here are some snapshots from the last few days before the big day!
Resting on daddy while the rest of her friends see Santa...
Sarah helped me make my first ever red velvet cake...Dave's favorite.

And finally...the loot!
Until next year, hope you had a good one and Happy New Year!
